Fortuna Entertainment Group Expands Global Capability Centre Operations in Hyderabad

Fortuna Entertainment Group has inaugurated its new Global Capability Centre (GCC) at My Home Twitza in HITEC City, Hyderabad, strengthening its long-term commitment to India. The 120-seater facility has become the company’s third-largest technology hub globally after Prague and Split.
Hyderabad GCC to Support Global Technology and AI Operations
The Hyderabad GCC will support FEG’s global operations across data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, product development, IT services, and artificial intelligence. The centre is expected to play an important role in supporting technology-led innovation and the company’s international growth plans.
Senior Global Leadership Attended the Inauguration
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dieter John, Group CEO of FEG; Sotiris Haritos, Group CTO; and Iain Child, Managing Partner at Penta Investments, the owner of FEG.
FEG Commits €12 Million Investment in India
FEG has announced a €12 million investment commitment in India over the next five years. According to the company, the investment reflects its confidence in India’s technology ecosystem and Hyderabad’s growing position as a global technology and innovation hub.
GCC to Drive AI, Analytics, and Digital Transformation
The Hyderabad centre will serve as a strategic technology and innovation hub supporting FEG’s omnichannel betting and gaming operations across European markets. The GCC will focus on advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, software engineering, automation, product development, customer experience optimization, and IT monitoring.
Expansion Aligned with FEG 2.0 Strategy
The company stated that the expansion aligns with its broader “FEG 2.0” strategy and “Fortuna Fit for Future” transformation program aimed at building scalable, technology-driven, and data-led capabilities for long-term growth.

Dieter John, Group CEO of FEG, said Hyderabad has evolved into a strategic capability hub for the company due to its strong engineering talent and expertise in AI, analytics, and digital technologies.
Sotiris Haritos, Group CTO, stated that the Hyderabad GCC will support the development of AI-powered digital platforms, intelligent automation, and real-time business insights for FEG’s global operations.

Avinash Gupta, Managing Director of FEG India Solutions, said the India operations have evolved from a support function into a high-impact technology hub spanning BI, AI, software testing, automation, IT monitoring, and gaming operations.

Iain Child, Managing Partner at Penta Investments, stated that India’s strong technology ecosystem, scalability, and skilled talent base make it an important destination for long-term strategic investments supporting FEG’s future growth ambitions.
