Odisha is positioning itself as a Global Capability Centre (GCC) hotspot, driven by a strong push in entrepreneurship, AI, and manufacturing. Speaking at the closing ceremony of TiECon Bhubaneswar 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi called upon investors, mentors, and entrepreneurs to “invest, innovate, and grow with Odisha.”
TiECon Bhubaneswar 2025: Showcasing Odisha’s Growth Potential
The two-day summit, held from August 9–10 at the Mayfair Convention Centre, was organised by the Department of Electronics & Information Technology, the Industries Department, OCAC, IPICOL, and Startup Odisha in collaboration with TiE Global.
The event brought together entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders from India and abroad to discuss entrepreneurship, AI adoption, and emerging sector growth.

Highlighting the state’s ambition, CM Majhi said:

The CM emphasised that Odisha is building future-ready talent in AI, cybersecurity, and emerging tech while expanding digital hubs beyond Bhubaneswar to Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, and Berhampur.

Majhi stressed that Odisha’s growth model focuses on job creation, youth empowerment, and social justice.
He assured investors:

- Day 1: Entrepreneurship focus – manufacturing, mining, tourism, blue economy, women entrepreneurs, and opportunities in Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities.
