TMUS Global Solutions, the global technology arm of T-Mobile USA, has inaugurated its new Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Hyderabad, expanding the company’s technology and innovation footprint outside the United States.
T-Mobile is one of the largest wireless network operators in the United States, serving more than 140 million customers and supporting next-generation connectivity solutions.
New Centre to Drive Engineering and Innovation Capabilities
The new 2.5 lakh square feet Global Technology Centre will serve as a strategic innovation hub focused on building advanced capabilities across software engineering, DevOps, product development, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
The facility will support the development of scalable technology solutions that strengthen technology operations and enhance customer experiences.
Workforce Expansion Plans
TMUS Global Solutions plans to expand its Hyderabad operations and scale the centre to nearly 1,000 employees by 2027.
The expansion reflects the company’s long-term commitment to strengthening its engineering and digital capabilities through India’s growing technology talent ecosystem.
Telangana Highlights Hyderabad’s Innovation Ecosystem
Speaking at the inauguration, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana Minister for IT, Electronics, and Communications, said the T-Mobile centre will further strengthen Telangana’s position as a hub for advanced technology, engineering, and innovation capabilities.
He noted that Hyderabad’s talent ecosystem is driving innovation across sectors including telecommunications, artificial intelligence, life sciences, semiconductors, banking, financial services, retail, and other industries.

Chandra Gupta, Vice President, Information Technology, TMUS Global Solutions, said the Hyderabad Global Technology Centre will play an important role in strengthening the company’s engineering and digital capabilities.
He added that the centre will enable teams to build technology solutions that support T-Mobile’s customers and business priorities.
