Kraft Heinz Expands India GCC Footprint with New Bengaluru Office

The Kraft Heinz Company has announced the opening of a new office in Bengaluru, India, expanding its presence in one of the country’s leading technology and talent hubs.
The new Bengaluru location will complement the company’s existing Global Capability Center (GCC) in Ahmedabad. While Ahmedabad will continue to serve as the primary hub for GCC leadership and core operations, the Bengaluru office will function as a satellite location supporting additional capabilities.
Bengaluru Office to Strengthen GCC Capabilities
According to the company, the new office will support select global functions that benefit from Bengaluru’s specialized talent pool and innovation ecosystem. The expansion is expected to strengthen Kraft Heinz’s digital, data, and next-generation technology capabilities.
The move forms part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance its Global Capability Center operations in India and support business teams across global markets.
GCC Growth Since 2023
Kraft Heinz established its India GCC in 2023 and has since grown the center to approximately 1,000 employees.
The GCC has developed expertise across several key business functions, including:
  • Supply planning
  • Procurement
  • Operational support functions
  • Enterprise services
The company stated that the center continues to play an important role in driving operational excellence across the organization.
Leadership Highlights Strategic Expansion
Serge De Vos said the Bengaluru expansion reflects the strong performance and impact delivered by the company’s teams in India.
According to Serge De Vos, adding the Bengaluru office alongside the Ahmedabad GCC will help strengthen advanced capabilities, accelerate scaling efforts, and create additional value for business teams globally.
Focus on Talent Development
Preeti Naval Kumar emphasized the importance of India’s talent ecosystem in supporting the company’s growth plans.
She stated that Ahmedabad will remain the primary GCC hub while Bengaluru will serve as a satellite office, helping the company invest in talent development and create new growth opportunities.
Multi-City GCC Strategy
The company noted that the expansion aligns with a broader trend of organizations operating GCCs across multiple Indian cities to access specialized talent, strengthen capabilities, and support long-term business growth.
With the addition of Bengaluru, Kraft Heinz aims to further enhance its India-based GCC operations while supporting global business, technology, and innovation priorities.
