Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. has announced plans to establish the Regeneron Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad as part of its strategy to strengthen global operations and scale business functions.
The company stated that the investment supports its mission of advancing science to develop medicines for patients worldwide.
Hyderabad GCC to Support Global Operations
The Regeneron GCC is expected to expand capabilities across multiple key global functions and grow to hundreds of jobs in the coming years.
The new center is expected to become operational in the second half of 2026.
Strengthening Hyderabad’s GCC Ecosystem
According to the company, the new GCC will further strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a major destination for life sciences and Global Capability Centers.
The city currently hosts more than 450 GCCs and offers access to a strong talent ecosystem across:
- Biotechnology
- Life sciences
- Artificial intelligence
- Digital technologies
- Analytics
The ecosystem is also supported by established infrastructure, research capabilities, and innovation networks.
Expanding Regeneron’s India Presence
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. established its Bengaluru presence in 2022.
The Hyderabad GCC builds on that foundation by expanding the company’s global operations and reinforcing India’s role as a strategic partner in Regeneron’s long-term growth plans.
Focus on Innovation and Growth
Founded and led by physician-scientists, Regeneron currently has 15 approved or authorized medicines and nearly 50 pipeline candidates across multiple therapeutic areas.
The Hyderabad GCC is expected to support the company’s continued innovation, operational scale, and global business growth initiatives.
