Mattel has appointed Bhavani Pandi as Head of People & Culture – India, marking a new leadership addition to strengthen the company’s people strategy in India.
Role Focused on Talent and Organizational Development
In her new role based in Hyderabad, Bhavani will lead people and culture initiatives across Mattel India. Her responsibilities will include organizational development, talent strategy, leadership hiring, employee engagement, HR transformation, and building a high-performance workplace aligned with Mattel’s global business vision.
Experience Across HR Transformation and GCC Scaling
Before joining Mattel, Bhavani spent more than six years at TriNet as Country People Partner. During her tenure, she established the HR function for a SaaS-based HCM product organization in India and led initiatives related to scalable HR policies, workforce scaling, regional HR strategy, operational excellence, and M&A due diligence. The article also highlighted her involvement in establishing a Global Capability Center during her time at the company.
Leadership Roles Across Multiple Global Organizations
Earlier in her career, Bhavani held senior HR leadership positions at Genesys, Cognizant, Bank of America, and Randstad. She also started her professional journey with Infosys and Collins Consulting Inc.
