The Telangana government has formalized a partnership with Blaize, a California-based leader in energy-efficient AI hardware and software, during the World Economic Forum 2026.
Partnership Overview
The MoU, signed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s delegation, focuses on expanding Blaize’s existing Hyderabad R&D operations in three key sectors: artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and electronics manufacturing.
Key Objectives:
- Scale Blaize's Hyderabad R&D and engineering center with government support
- Leverage AI computing expertise for smart cities and industrial automation
- Develop advanced engineering talent for semiconductor and AI industries
"Telangana Rising" Vision
Chief Minister Reddy emphasized this partnership supports the state’s goal of becoming a premier AI data center hub, targeting USD 3 trillion in economic growth over the next twenty years through initiatives in AI, data centers, quantum computing, and automation.
Telangana AI Innovation Hub
The state is launching the Telangana AI Innovation Hub to serve as a central nerve center for research and investment, positioning Hyderabad as a global AI destination. IT Minister Dr. Sridhar Babu welcomed Blaize’s expansion and committed to supporting talent development.
Future Initiatives
Both parties will explore AI-driven pilot projects in healthcare diagnostics and manufacturing efficiency, further strengthening Hyderabad’s position as a global technology hub.
