Andhra Pradesh Announces $10 Billion Strategic GCC and Data Hub Partnership with RMZ Group

During the ongoing World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh announced a landmark $10 billion strategic infrastructure partnership with RMZ Group. The investment aims to transform the state into a major digital, Global Capability Centre (GCC), and AI hub.
GCC and Data Centre Development in Visakhapatnam
Under the partnership, a 10 million sq. ft. Global Capability Centre Park and a 1 GW hyperscale data centre cluster will be established in Visakhapatnam. These developments are expected to position the city as a key hub for digital operations, AI innovation, and global enterprise capabilities.
Industrial and Logistics Expansion in Rayalaseema
The investment will also include a 1,000-acre industrial and logistics park in Rayalaseema, aimed at promoting balanced regional growth and boosting industrial infrastructure across Andhra Pradesh.

The initiative has the potential to create over 100,000 jobs across IT, data centres, manufacturing, and logistics, reflecting the state’s focus on policy clarity, execution certainty, and speed of doing business.
