German financial services giant Deutsche Börse has announced plans to establish its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, marking another major global investment in Telangana’s rapidly expanding technology ecosystem.
A Strategic Move to Strengthen Global Operations
A delegation led by German Consul General in Chennai, Michael Hasper, met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to discuss the development. The team briefed the CM on Deutsche Börse’s decision to set up the GCC as part of the company’s ongoing global expansion.
The new facility is expected to create at least 1,000 job opportunities in the IT sector over the next two years, underscoring Hyderabad’s growing appeal as a preferred hub for high-value digital and financial services operations.
Government Support and Collaboration
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy welcomed Deutsche Börse’s investment, affirming that Hyderabad remains one of the most attractive global destinations for business and innovation. He assured the delegation that the Telangana government will extend full support to facilitate smooth establishment and operations of the GCC.
He also invited German companies to explore investment opportunities in IT, pharmaceuticals, and automobile manufacturing, emphasizing the state’s world-class infrastructure and skilled workforce.
Strengthening Indo-German Ties
The CM expressed Telangana’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Germany, not only through investment partnerships but also in education, skill development, and innovation.
He requested the German Consul General to:
- Introduce German language education in Hyderabad through trained teachers.
- Collaborate on vocational training and skill development initiatives via TOMCOM (Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd) to enhance employability for Telangana’s youth.
These initiatives aim to foster deeper cultural and educational ties alongside economic collaboration.
Hyderabad: A Global GCC Powerhouse
Deutsche Börse’s decision adds to the growing list of global enterprises that have chosen Hyderabad for their GCCs in 2025. With major players across finance, healthcare, technology, and manufacturing establishing their centers in the city, Hyderabad continues to solidify its position as India’s next-generation innovation hub.
