Bihar Invites Google India to Establish Global Capability Centre Under GCC Policy 2026

In a move aimed at attracting large-scale technology investments and creating new employment opportunities, the Bihar government has invited Google India to establish a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in the state under the Bihar Global Capability Centre (GCC) Policy 2026.
The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and a high-level delegation from Google India led by Vice President Chandu Thota at Bihar Bhawan in New Delhi.
Focus on Technology-Led Development
The meeting centered on leveraging modern technologies to accelerate Bihar’s development and exploring opportunities to position the state on the global information technology map.
During the discussions, the Chief Minister extended an invitation to Google India to establish a GCC in Bihar, highlighting the opportunities available under the state’s newly introduced GCC Policy 2026.
Both sides expressed their willingness to work towards a strong partnership aimed at supporting Bihar’s digital development agenda.
