Kerala Signs MoU with Inductus Group to Strengthen GCC and IT Ecosystem

The Government of Kerala, through Infoparks Kerala, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Inductus Group to strengthen the state’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) and information technology ecosystem.
The agreement was signed by Shri Susanth Kurunthil, Chief Executive Officer of Infoparks Kerala, and Shri Alouk Kumar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Inductus Group. The partnership seeks to increase Kerala’s visibility among multinational corporations and attract investments in development centres, capability centres, and technology operations across the state.
Supporting Kerala’s Position as a GCC Destination
The collaboration aligns with the Kerala government’s efforts to position the state as a preferred destination for global enterprises seeking to establish and expand GCCs.
According to the announcement, the initiative follows strategic discussions led by Shri Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS, Special Secretary (Electronics & Information Technology), Government of Kerala, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Infoparks Kerala. The focus is on leveraging Kerala’s talent pool, digital infrastructure, and business ecosystem to attract global investments.
Showcasing Kerala’s Strengths to Multinational Enterprises
As part of the partnership, Kerala’s key advantages—including its skilled workforce, educational institutions, digital readiness, supportive business environment, and quality of life—will be promoted to multinational companies evaluating locations for technology and business operations.
Alouk Kumar, Founder and CEO of Inductus Group, said that Kerala possesses many of the attributes global organisations seek while evaluating locations for their GCCs, including a highly skilled workforce, strong educational foundations, digital readiness, and a supportive business environment. He added that the partnership aims to strengthen awareness of the state’s capabilities and enable meaningful engagement between global enterprises and Kerala’s growing technology ecosystem.
GCC Sector Expands into Innovation and Advanced Technology Functions
The MoU comes as the GCC sector continues to evolve beyond traditional shared services models into areas such as innovation, research, digital transformation, and advanced technology functions.
Enterprises are increasingly evaluating destinations based on talent availability, operational efficiency, infrastructure readiness, and scalability, making regional ecosystems an important factor in investment decisions.
Combining Ecosystem Leadership and GCC Advisory Expertise
The collaboration brings together Infoparks Kerala’s ecosystem leadership and institutional support with Inductus Group’s expertise in GCC advisory, IT consulting, and investment facilitation.
According to the partners, the initiative is expected to contribute to the growth of Kerala’s knowledge economy while strengthening the state’s position as a destination for innovation-led investments.
Contributing to India’s GCC Growth Story
The partnership also supports broader efforts to reinforce India’s position as a global GCC hub. Through this initiative, Kerala aims to attract a larger share of future investments in the sector and further strengthen its role in the country’s growing GCC landscape.
