Trigent and Codec Partner to Establish GCCs in Bengaluru and Hyderabad

Trigent Software, a US-based technology services company and Global Capability Centre (GCC) enabler, has announced a strategic partnership with Codec, a Dublin-headquartered digital transformation consultancy, to establish Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The new centres will serve as Codec’s primary technology delivery hubs in India, supporting the company’s next phase of international growth and expanding its global delivery and innovation capabilities.
India GCC Strategy
Codec, one of Ireland’s largest Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers, delivers enterprise technology services across AI, application modernization, cloud infrastructure, customer experience, and managed services.
Through its India GCC initiative, the company plans to leverage India’s deep technology talent pool to scale its delivery and innovation capabilities globally.
Build–Operate–Transfer Model
The Trigent–Codec collaboration will follow a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model.
Under this approach, Trigent will build and operationalize the two innovation centres, handling talent acquisition, governance, compliance, and delivery operations. Over time, the centres will transition to full ownership by Codec.
Rohail Qadri, President of Global Capability Centre and Professional Services at Trigent, noted that the BOT structure is designed to deliver a fully operational and culturally integrated capability by the time the transfer occurs.
Expanding Global Technology Delivery
The India GCC will support end-to-end delivery on enterprise client engagements, with teams working closely with Codec’s European counterparts from the beginning.
According to Ronan Stafford, Chief Executive Officer of Codec, India offers the talent density needed for the company’s next phase of growth, and professionals joining the GCC will play a central role in the company’s global operations.
India’s Growing GCC Ecosystem
The expansion reflects India’s continued growth as a hub for global technology capability centres, with more than 1,700 GCCs operating across the country.
Cities such as Bengaluru and Hyderabad remain key destinations due to their strong enterprise technology talent and established innovation ecosystems.
