TP-Link India, the market leader in Wi-Fi devices both globally and domestically, has announced a major expansion of its presence in India with the launch of two significant initiatives: its first Incubation Centre in Mumbai and a state-of-the-art Global Capability Centre (GCC) for R&D in Bengaluru
Driving Innovation with Mumbai Incubation Centre
TP-Link’s new incubation centre is co-located with its freshly unveiled headquarters in Mumbai. The facility is dedicated to nurturing young talent, fostering innovation, and supporting next-generation connectivity technologies.
It will:
- Welcome students, developers, and tech enthusiasts from across India
- Provide hands-on access to enterprise solutions
- Offer advanced tools, connectivity, and mentorship support
- Facilitate partner training and demonstrations
The Mumbai centre was inaugurated by Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Maharashtra.

Bengaluru R&D GCC: Focus on Cutting-Edge Research
Further cementing its India-first strategy, TP-Link is establishing a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, set to go live in the coming weeks. This facility will drive product innovation for both India and global markets
Key focus areas will include:
- Firmware development
- AI/ML applications
- Advanced networking solutions
- Enhancing TP-Link’s enterprise solutions brand, Omada

Strengthening After-Sales and Expanding Talent
As part of its focused growth plan, TP-Link India will:
- Expand its service centre network, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, with plans to add 20 new service centres over the next year
- Increase its headcount by 30% to support its growing operations and innovation pipeline
These moves aim to make TP-Link’s after-sales service among the largest nationwide and reinforce its commitment to local customer support.

TP-Link’s incubation centre will serve as a hub for collaboration, welcoming startups, academic institutions, industry partners, and the broader community. The company envisions creating a dynamic, inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that empowers the next generation of change-makers.
