Sanofi Healthcare India has announced a major expansion of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, reinforcing India’s position as a strategic hub for life sciences and pharmaceutical operations.
Significant Infrastructure Expansion
The company has added over 2.7 lakh square feet of modern workspace within its existing Hitech City campus. This expansion significantly increases the centre’s operational capacity and strengthens its long-term presence in India.
Increased Talent Capacity
With the new expansion, the Hyderabad GCC will now accommodate approximately 4,500 employees, up from the earlier projected capacity of 2,600. This scale-up positions the centre among Sanofi’s largest global talent hubs and places it within the top three pharma GCCs in India.
Strategic Investment Commitment
The development is backed by a multi-hundred-million-dollar investment, underlining Sanofi’s confidence in India’s growing life sciences ecosystem and its access to a highly skilled talent pool.
Strengthening India’s Life Sciences GCC Landscape
The expansion reflects Sanofi’s continued commitment to leveraging India’s capabilities in healthcare and pharmaceutical services, while contributing to the broader growth of the country’s Global Capability Centre ecosystem.
