Odisha Unveils BharatNetra Initiative with Launch of Integrated Global Financial Technology Capability Hub (I-GFTCH)

In a historic move, the Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Singapore-headquartered Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), has launched the BharatNetra Initiative with the inauguration of the Integrated Global Financial Technology Capability Hub (I-GFTCH) in Bhubaneswar.

This marks Odisha’s first large-scale global FinTech capability initiative, positioning the state as a rising nerve centre in India’s innovation and digital economy landscape.

The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), headquartered in Singapore, fosters efficient, inclusive, and resilient financial systems. Established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024, GFTN operates global forums including the Singapore FinTech Festival, advises governments, and supports digital infrastructure development. GFTN is also set to launch a venture fund focusing on inclusive and sustainable fintech innovation.
