Iron Mountain, a global leader in storage and information management, has commenced discussions with potential customers in India to provide compute infrastructure for AI training and inference workloads. The initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to serve enterprises, cloud providers, and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) seeking scalable AI and data solutions.
Current Capacity and Near-Term Expansion
Iron Mountain currently operates 14 MW of live compute capacity in India, with an additional 6 MW expected by the end of 2025. This expansion is aimed at supporting the growing demand for AI-driven enterprise workloads across sectors.
