Infopark Kochi Partners with GCDA to Develop AI Township in Phase III

In a major boost to Kerala’s IT and innovation ecosystem, Infopark Kochi has partnered with the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) to develop an AI-driven township as part of Phase III of Infopark’s expansion in Kizhakkambalam. This project aims to combine advanced technology infrastructure with sustainable urban development, positioning Kerala as a leader in AI and smart city initiatives
Vision and Scope
The AI township will cover approximately 300 acres and is projected to attract ₹25,000 crore in investment. It is expected to generate 200,000 direct jobs and 400,000 indirect jobs. The township will integrate residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and cultural facilities, creating a self-sufficient ecosystem for professionals and residents
Sustainable and Smart Infrastructure

The township is designed with sustainability at its core, featuring AI-powered urban management systems for real-time problem-solving, carbon-negative and water-positive systems, and zero-waste management initiatives.

A central “urban city brain” platform will use AI to optimize public services and infrastructure management, enhancing the quality of life for residents and businesses alike
