Genpact Appoints Dinesh Jain as Global Capability Centre (GCC) Lead to Drive Strategic Transformation

Global professional services firm Genpact has announced the appointment of Dinesh Jain as its Global Capability Centre (GCC) Lead, effective November 11, 2025. The move underscores Genpact’s commitment to helping global enterprises design, scale, and transform their GCCs into strategic growth hubs.
Based in Mumbai, Jain will spearhead Genpact’s global efforts to help organizations evolve their GCCs through agentic operations, advanced technologies, and data-driven transformation.
GCCs as Engines of Growth
Commenting on the appointment, Riju Vashisht, Chief Growth Officer at Genpact, said:
“In the era of agentic operations, GCCs are no longer just delivery hubs; they are strategic growth engines. With Dinesh’s leadership, we’re helping clients reimagine these centres as catalysts for continuous innovation and competitive advantage.”
Shaping Genpact’s Global GCC Strategy
In his new role, Jain will define and execute Genpact’s GCC strategy and advisory playbooks, guiding clients on setting up, scaling, or transforming their global centres into hubs of innovation, engineering, and process excellence. He will also advise on scale-up and carve-out strategies, enabling enterprises to unlock long-term business value.
“GCCs today sit at the intersection of process, technology, data, and global talent,” said Dinesh Jain. “The next wave of growth will come from empowering these centres to become agile, data-smart engines that fuel enterprise-wide transformation.”
An Experienced Leader in Global Delivery and Transformation
With over two decades of experience in technology delivery and digital transformation, Jain has helped multinational companies architect and scale their global capability centres. Before joining Genpact, he led Accenture Technology GCC Solutions and Offerings from Mumbai, and held senior roles across technology strategy, transformation, and delivery functions in multiple industries.
India’s GCC Ecosystem: A Growth Powerhouse
According to industry estimates, India now hosts more than 1,800 GCCs, employing over 1.6 million professionals. These centres are increasingly taking end-to-end ownership of critical enterprise functions across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
As this ecosystem evolves, companies are seeking strategic partners who can bridge the gap between technology, data, and business outcomes — a space where Genpact aims to deepen its advisory presence.
Genpact’s Vision for the Future of GCCs
Through its GCC practice, Genpact aims to help enterprises accelerate innovation, ensure governance and compliance, and drive measurable business outcomes through digital transformation at scale.
With Dinesh Jain’s appointment, Genpact is reinforcing its vision to transform GCCs into strategic assets combining operational excellence with data intelligence and AI-driven decision-making.
