Operated by adesso India, the new hub brings together top software engineers with a shared mission — to advance the Exasol Analytics Engine through native AI innovation and global collaboration.
The Exasol Tech Hub will focus on developing AI-native functions that enable more efficient data processing and faster decision-making. This initiative lays the foundation for both companies’ continued global expansion and commitment to software excellence.
“By enhancing the Exasol Analytics Engine, we aim to integrate AI seamlessly into every stage of the analytics lifecycle — from intelligent workload optimization and automated performance tuning to AI-assisted data preparation and insight generation,” said a company spokesperson.
Through this modernization, the engine will soon deliver large-scale, AI-ready analytics, helping organizations achieve accelerated decision-making, reduced operating costs, and scalable analytics across secure on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
At the Chennai Tech Hub, India’s top software talent will collaborate with adesso’s delivery expertise to develop key innovations, including:
- AI-native functions and data types – enabling advanced analytics through vectors, semantic search (for RAG), and enhanced SQL usability.
- Cloud-native deployment and elasticity – introducing Kubernetes/Terraform support and ARM portability for dynamic scaling and cost efficiency.
- Ecosystem integrations – ensuring compatibility with modern data tools such as dbt Cloud, Airbyte, Dagster, Fivetran, and Airflow.
