DAZN Launches India’s First Sports-Tech GCC in Hyderabad, Plans to Create 3,000 Jobs by 2026 

DAZN, the world’s leading sports streaming platform, has inaugurated India’s first-ever sports technology Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. At the launch event, Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, D. Sridhar Babu, applauded DAZN’s decision to deepen its investment in the state, stating:

“DAZN’s expansion is a testament to Telangana’s skilled workforce, robust infrastructure, and proactive governance. Nearly one new GCC is being added every week in Hyderabad.”

He also highlighted the state’s aggressive push toward infrastructure growth with $15 billion invested in futuristic projects like AI City, Sports City, EV Mobility corridors, and the Regional Ring Road to support tier-2 and tier-3 expansion.
DAZN’s Rapid Growth in India
DAZN entered India in 2023 by launching its Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad. Within just two years, the company has scaled up to a 1,500+ strong workforce, comprising software engineers, developers, product managers, and data scientists.
