Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: CtrlS Datacenters, a leading provider of data centre services, has announced a significant ₹500 crore investment to establish a new data centre in Badwai IT Park, Madhya Pradesh. The upcoming facility will be built on a 5-acre land parcel and is expected to generate around 200 jobs as it develops in phases.

This announcement was made during the groundbreaking ceremony of the greenfield data centre, which took place at the Tech Growth Conclave 2025 held in Indore. The strategic investment will strengthen the region’s digital ecosystem by supporting high-performance cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and data processing applications, aligning with the increasing demand for robust digital infrastructure.

Strategic Alignment with Madhya Pradesh’s Vision

The establishment of the data centre is in line with Madhya Pradesh’s forward-thinking policies, including the IT, ITeS, and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy 2023, which offers up to a 25% capital expenditure subsidy. Additionally, the initiative is part of the state’s broader ambition to establish over 50 global tech centres through its Global Capability Centres Policy 2025.

These efforts reflect Madhya Pradesh’s vision of reaching a $2 trillion economy by 2047, positioning the state as a leading destination for high-tech investments. The CtrlS Datacenters facility will play a pivotal role in boosting the state’s digital infrastructure, driving technological innovation, and enhancing its appeal to global tech companies
