CGI Appoints Gopal Chhetri to Lead Global Capability Centers Business

CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB), one of the world’s largest independent IT and business consulting services firms, has appointed Gopal Chhetri, Senior Vice-President, Asia Pacific Global Delivery Centers of Excellence, to lead its Global Capability Centers (GCCs) business.
Strengthening AI-First GCC Strategy
In his new role, Gopal Chhetri will lead CGI’s AI-first GCC strategy, focused on scaling delivery and transformation capabilities for clients while strengthening India’s role in CGI’s global delivery ecosystem. The appointment reflects CGI’s intent to help enterprises position GCCs as strategic engines for innovation, modernization, and resilience, moving beyond scale-driven models.
